Gustavo “Gus” Gonzalez has built an impressive career in the ski industry, fueled by his passion for skiing and his expertise in lift systems. He first learned to ski at Cerro Catedral in Bariloche, Argentina, at age 12, sparking a lifelong love for the mountains. Today, as a key member of MCP’s lifts team, Gus provides vital support to lift maintenance teams, ensuring that guests enjoy safe and reliable ski lift operations across all MCP resorts. Gus thrives on the variety his role brings, from working with diverse lift equipment to collaborating with ski professionals of all experience levels. He takes pride in the collective achievements of his career, considering every new challenge an opportunity to grow and contribute to the ski community. Outside of work, Gus embraces the slopes through his love of monoskiing in the winter and spends summer days flying model RC airplanes with his son.
